Our expertise includes advising on all the financing aspects of aviation financing transactions including the following:

• Acted for major domestic financial institutions in respect of the facility of US$5.7 million granted to part finance the balance fifty per cent. (50%) purchase price of the helicopter of US$5,700,000.00 due to the manufacturer.
• Acted for a foreign investment bank in its capacity as lender and arranger in connection with the financing of twin-engine helicopters to a leasing company, for a value of approximately US$8 million.
• Acted for a foreign investment bank in its capacity as lender and arranger in connection with the ECA-supported lease financing of turboprop-powered aircraft with a value of approximately US$15 million leased to domestic aircraft leasing interest.

Our project finance experience encompasses industries that range from real estate to power and utilities/infrastructure, including the following:.

• Acted for 2 Japanese international financial institutions, as structuring co-ordinator in relation to the project financing of US$308 million of the 1,468 MW, gas-fired project in Kaeng Khoi, Thailand.
• Acted for an Energy Consortium consisting of 3 foreign multinationals in relation to the proposed acquisition of shares in a Singapore-based energy interest from a Singapore holdings company which owns a power station consisting of two units of 600 MW oil-fired steam generation plant and four gas-fired combined cycle power units each of 367.5 MW.

• We acted as the Malaysian counsel to a UK-incorporated Malaysian financial institution as lender in respect of the term loan facility of £2.8 million granted to a Malaysian developer  to finance the purchase of a property in the United Kingdom.
• We acted as the Malaysian counsel to a UK-incorporated Malaysian financial institution as lender in respect of the term loan facility of approximately £1.7 million granted to a British Virgin Islands incorporated company to finance the purchase of a property in the United Kingdom.
• We acted for a Labuan incorporated branch of  a Singapore bank in respect of the dual currency term loan facility of JP¥1,420,000,000.00 (or the equivalent in S$) to 2 property interests for the acquisition of property in Australia.
