We have advised and assisted our clients in respect of corporate regulatory and licensing regulations which include the following:

• We have advised The Royal Bank of Scotland plc, Deutsche Bank plc, National Bank of Abu Dhabi Malaysia Berhad and Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc in respect of repurchase transactions to be entered into under the TBMA/ISMA GMRA with Malaysian counterparties.
• We have advised the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited, BNP Paribas S.A., Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited, HSBC Private Bank, Singapore on the ‘regulated activities’ in relation to product offerings and marketing activities under the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 of Malaysia.
• We have advised a major UK financial institution in respect of its cash pooling service agreements under several applicable laws to offer notional pooling services in multiple jurisdictions which could include counterparties in Malaysia.
