Shu Li is primarily involved in debt capital markets and banking and finance matters, in the course of which she advises local and foreign financial institutions, borrowers and issuers in various domestic and cross-border transactions including bilateral and syndicated banking transactions (both conventional and Islamic), acquisition financing transactions and debt capital market issuances (both conventional and Islamic).

Shu Li graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Manchester and commenced her legal practice at Zaid Ibrahim & Co (in association with KPMG Law) (“ZICO”), namely one of the largest full-service law firms in Malaysia which has been consistently ranked as a “Tier 1 Banking & Finance Firm” by The Legal 500. She was a Senior Associate in ZICO’s Banking and Finance practice group prior to joining KMD LEE & Co as a Partner.
